Product Support Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Product Support Technician to join us in our busy warehouse and technical team. Reporting to the Product Support Manager and Product Support Supervisor, you will work with the team to identify and resolve product issues and process returned stock. This role also may include the installation of our fittings in galleries or showrooms, which may require the occasional travel either in the UK or abroad. As such, the ability to travel for several days at a time and a valid passport is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with a daily 1-hour unpaid break., * Customising fittings to customer specifications

• Responding to internal queries, including from Customer Service
• Facilitating the inspection of and actioning the process of returned fittings
• Maintaining stock
• Claiming for parts for repair fittings
• Supporting and eventually carrying out off-site installation projects such as showrooms and galleries, including outside of the UK
• Supporting other areas of the business when required

• Experience or interest in technical electrics and wiring
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Astute attention to detail
• Ability to work well both within a team and independently
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, such as Word, Outlook and Excel
• Ability to independently prioritise own workload
• Proactive and willing to get involved in all aspects of Operations, including Warehouse, when required
• A valid passport and ability to travel abroad for several days at a time
• Previous background in electrical rewiring, skilled trade or warehousing is advantageous but not essential
