Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing security team in London City. You will be responsible for protecting and monitoring the security posture of all client environments managed by Nexgen Communication Ltd., * Monitor all client environments managed by Nexgen Communication Ltd using SIEM and security monitoring tools

  • Detect, analyse, and respond to cyber security threats and incidents across multiple client systems
  • Investigate security breaches and perform root cause analysis with detailed documentation
  • Continuously monitor client infrastructure for vulnerabilities and security risks
  • Support implementation of security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure secure configurations and compliance
  • Participate in incident response activities including containment, recovery, and post-incident reporting
  • Produce detailed security reports and dashboards for all monitored clients
  • Stay updated with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies

Requirements

Do you have experience in Splunk?, * Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field

  • Strong understanding of networking and cyber security principles
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, etc.)
  • Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple client environments effectively
