Join us on our journey toward becoming a digital central bank!, * You will analyze and evaluate the IT risk management and IT processes of financial institutions.
- Your focus will be particularly on complex IT issues and IT risks.
- You will examine technical innovations and assess their impact on the financial sector.
- You will participate in supervisory meetings and banking audits at financial institutions and their third-party IT service providers.
- In doing so, you will contribute your expertise and represent the supervisory authority in discussions with the executive boards and senior management of these institutions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in (Business) Computer Science
- Strong IT expertise
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
Additionally desirable
- Relevant professional experience related to IT security
- Very good knowledge of established information security standards
- Good knowledge of (inter)national banking regulatory law as it relates to IT security
- Interest in technical innovations and their impact on the financial sector
- Strong ability to analyze, evaluate, and present complex issues in a manner tailored to the audience
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Knowledge of and willingness to apply agile work methods
- Confident and polished demeanor
Benefits & conditions
Pay Grade 13 (€64,400 to €92,600, depending on your experience); Potential for advancement to Pay Grade 15., Compensation & Career Prospects Compensation based on the TVöD (collective bargaining agreement for public sector employees), plus a banking allowance, with opportunities for professional development; a future-oriented position in the public sector with reliable working conditions; the potential for permanent civil service status; the option to continue an existing civil service appointment; and a comprehensive range of professional development opportunities
