Requirements

Eight years of experience with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM, with proven expertise in batch processing and online transaction processing (OLTP) environmentsSolid experience in application support, with a good understanding of Incident and Problem Management processes, along with the ability to contribute to software development and enhancement activitiesFamiliarity with industry-standard mainframe toolsets, development methodologies, and operational processesExperience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsetsA background in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problemsExperience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performan ce
