Founding Engineer_TT

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to build a core AI product end-to-end in London. You’ll join at an early, stealth stage and take real ownership of the codebase, making architectural decisions and shipping features from scratch rather than picking up tickets from a backlog. The team is already working with top global brokers and automating real workflows, so this is a build role with immediate, tangible impact rather than a greenfield experiment. You’ll work across the full stack, frontend, backend, and infrastructure, and be trusted to figure out what to build with minimal spec. It’s a great fit for someone with strong startup DNA who thrives on ambiguity and wants to help define both the product and the engineering culture from day one. This is a fully on-site, hands-on role for someone who wants outsized ownership early in a company’s life.

2 to 8 years of professional software engineering experience

• Experience working in an early-stage startup or another highly resource-constrained environment
• A track record of shipping full-stack features or products end-to-end, spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Comfort operating without detailed specs, figuring out what to build and making architectural calls independently
• Based in London, or able to commute daily for a fully on-site role
• Nice to have: experience building AI agents or working directly with LLMs
• Nice to have: prior experience in Insurtech or Fintech

Build the product end-to-end, from architecture decisions through shipped features

• Own full-stack work spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Make core technical and architectural decisions with minimal oversight
• Turn ambiguous problems and light specs into shipped, working software
• Help automate real insurance workflows such as submission intake and quote comparison
• Contribute to shaping engineering culture and practices as an early member of the team
