AI Solutions Engineer (AI & Data systems)

We currently have a vacancy for an AI Solutions Engineer (AI & Data systems) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Seville, Spain. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Support engineering, environmental and process activities, including data collection, analysis workflows and stakeholder collaboration;
• Ensure data quality, validation, integrity and effective team communication through SharePoint and Teams management;
• Create and maintain internal documentation, procedures and guidelines;
• Develop AI-powered tools, web crawlers and automated pipelines for technology scanning and monitoring;
• Implement AI/NLP solutions for text classification, topic modelling and sentiment analysis;
• Build dashboards and analytics tools to support policy and stakeholder analysis;
• Design secure, privacy-compliant digital platforms and ensure compliance with data governance and security standards;
• Develop and maintain scalable systems integrating AI models, databases, APIs, cloud services and CI/CD pipelines;
• Collaborate with project officers, IT services, and JRC data teams using agile development methodologies.

Do you have experience in SharePoint?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;

• At least 3 years of experience in artificial intelligence, data science and software engineering;
• Experience with graphs or semantic technologies;
• Experience with data visualization tools;
• Excellent knowledge of large-scale text analysis;
• Good knowledge of data governance and compliance;
• Knowledge of policy or regulatory data systems;
• Knowledge of industrial and/or environmental engineering regarding European environmental legal framework would be an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
