Service Architect

operational requirements, ensuring traceability throughout service design, build, and transition phases.Design and implement operational governance frameworks covering reporting, compliance, risk management, skills, and communications.Lead organisational design initiatives and support transformation programmes.Guide clients through MSP transitions, including outsourcing and insourcing engagements.Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of service offerings.Promote service offerings to internal account management and sales teams.Develop pre-sales and proposal materials for client engagements.Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 10 years’ experience in a service management advisory/consulting role or as a senior client-side stakeholder.ITIL certification preferred; however, substantial practical experience is essential.Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is preferred; certification is advantageous.Strong background in IT operations and the integration of service management tools and processes.Proven experience applying service architecture principles to technical initiatives, including cloud migrations and observability platform integrations.Solid understanding of modern technology environments, including cloud platforms, AI infrastructure, and traditional IT estates.Subject matter expertise in at least one technical domain such as networking, security, observability, or applications is highly desirable.Key Skills & AttributesExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex service and operating models to both technical and non-technical audiences.Comfortable engaging with stakeholders ranging from executive leadership to operational teams.Highly adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Strong presence and credibility when working with both business and engineering stakeholders.Passion for emerging technologies and a commitment to staying current with industry trends in service management and operations.If you have a strong background in service architecture and are looking to contribute to a high-profile transformation programme within financial services, we’d love to hear from you.
