Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Manager to join a well-established multi-site organisation undergoing significant technology transformation.
This role offers the opportunity to lead cloud infrastructure, cyber security, networking and digital transformation initiatives across a complex Microsoft environment, whilst managing key infrastructure projects and supporting strategic technology planning.
Reporting directly to the Director of IT, you’ll take ownership of the organisation’s cloud and infrastructure estate, ensuring services remain secure, resilient and scalable while driving continuous improvement across the wider technology function.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership position combining technical expertise with strategic responsibility.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Managing Azure and on-premises infrastructure environments
- Ownership of Microsoft 365 services, Entra ID, Intune and Defender
- Leading cyber security initiatives, compliance and risk management
- Driving infrastructure modernisation and cloud transformation projects
- Managing disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Leading network reviews and infrastructure improvement programmes
- Acting as senior escalation point for complex technical issues
- Managing and developing technical support staff
- Working closely with third-party suppliers and technology partners
- Supporting strategic planning, budgeting and technology roadmaps
Requirements
Do you have experience in Management?, We are looking for an experienced infrastructure or cloud professional who enjoys both technical leadership and strategic project delivery., You should have strong experience with:
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft 365
- Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Intune
- Microsoft Defender
- Networking technologies including VLANs and SD-WAN
- Cyber Security and compliance frameworks
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
- Infrastructure projects and service improvement
- Team leadership and stakeholder management
Experience working within multi-site environments would be highly beneficial.
