Job description

  • Internal web applications and dashboards supporting field and office operations

  • Payroll and HR systems including ADP / Paylocity
  • Microsoft ecosystem - M365, Entra ID, Teams, Power Platform, Azure

  • Build and maintain internal web applications from front end through back end, including UI, business logic, APIs, and database layers.

  • Write readable, testable, maintainable code and participate in code review.

Business Analysis & Solution Design

  • Partner with accounting, operations, HR, project teams, and IT to understand workflows and translate them into working software.

  • Improve the scalability, maintainability, and performance of existing applications.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to leadership rather than waiting to be asked.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is both hands-on and analytical: someone who can write clean, maintainable code, design a sensible data model, debug a production issue, and also sit down with accounting, operations, or a project team to understand what they actually need before writing a line of it., * 3+ years of professional software development experience across front end and back end

  • Proficiency in at least one back-end language (C#, Python, JavaScript/Node, etc.)
  • Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework (React, Angular, Vue, or similar)
  • Strong SQL and relational database design skills
  • Hands-on experience building and consuming REST/JSON APIs, including authentication (OAuth, tokens)
  • Experience with source control and standard development workflows (Git)
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into working software
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
  • Comfortable working independently and owning outcomes

Preferred Experience

  • Viewpoint Vista, Procore, ADP, or Paylocity integration or reporting experience
  • Microsoft ecosystem development (Azure, Azure Functions, Power Platform, Entra ID)
  • Cloud hosting, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
  • Reporting and BI tools (Power BI, SSRS)
  • Construction or project-based business environments
