DevOps Engineers

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in building and maintaining the infrastructure behind mission-critical systems, ensuring they remain reliable, scalable, and secure. This is your opportunity to make an impact on projects of national importance, while working in an environment that values collaboration, innovation, and ownership., In this role, you will design, implement, and optimise infrastructure solutions that underpin some of the UK’s most important systems. You will take ownership of automating processes, ensuring system reliability, and contributing to continuous delivery pipelines. Working closely with developers and testers, you will troubleshoot issues, validate configurations, and enhance deployment workflows., * Build & Automate: Design and maintain infrastructure systems using DevOps best practices.

• Enhance & Secure: Implement Infrastructure as Code and ensure environments meet security standards.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve: Collaborate with teams to identify and fix technical issues efficiently.
• Assure & Deliver: Support quality assurance and deployment into Kubernetes and Puppet environments.
• Collaborate & Adapt: Participate in agile processes to prioritise and deliver high-impact solutions.

To succeed in this role, you should bring proven experience with infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and DevOps practices. Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to learn and apply new technologies will ensure success.

You should have experience in some of the below:

• Kubernetes, Ansible
• Linux, Terraform, Docker
• IAC (Infrastructure as Code), CI/CD Pipelines, Openshift

Additional desirable skills include:

• Programming/Development: Java, Go
• Scripting: Python, Bash
• Source control tools: Git, SVN
