Job description

This Software Engineer position is for a Functional SAP resource with expertise in ERP implementations for SAP Material Management in Direct Procurement in Automotive / Manufacturing industry focusing in the area of requisitioning to ordering process. The position includes both new development and prod support activities within the IERP Program. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Business partners (Product Owners) to deliver application changes
  • Perform requirements gathering, Business Analysis, Fit Gap Analysis, System Testing, Documentation (FDD and TDD) and End User Training
  • Create Use cases, user stories and other requirements/specifications artifacts
  • Provide functional specifications and work with Software Engineers (ABAP, PCF, Fiori)
  • Conducting and support testing on SAP platform - Functional, Security, Integration, User Acceptance
  • Support cutover, data profiling, extraction, cleansing activities
  • Ability to perform configuration
  • Analyze integration requirements and work with legacy non SAP systems
  • Production support of launched functionality, Lead SAP MM and PP implementations, configure and customize modules, analyze business requirements, design SAP solutions, support testing and go-live, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, train users, and advise enterprise clients on supply chain processes. The role also supports USA deployment planning, global stakeholder collaboration, knowledge transfer, and project manufacturing management optimization using SAP technologies. Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience
  • 6+ years of functional experience with following SAP modules - Material Management covering processes from Requisitioning to ordering (with purchase orders or scheduling agreements), Directed Tier 2, Sub-contracting, Intra-Company
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Related Field
  • Experienced in at least 1 full life cycle of S4 HANA and Fiori implementation
  • Experience with S4 HANA and Fiori implementation
  • Experience in hands-on and root-cause analysis skills
  • Highly motivated team member with good interpersonal and strong communication skills Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with ABAP
  • Relevant SAP Certification
  • Experience in Automotive / Manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of Ariba Sourcing and Supply Chain Collaboration and integrations with S/4 integration, Lead SAP MII and ME functional consulting for a global aerospace and defense manufacturing implementation. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, blueprinting, SAP ME configuration, MII optimization, ERP-to-shop-floor integration, regulatory compliance, testing, training, and change management. The role requires strong SAP PP and QM expertise, discrete manufacturing experience, functional documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate plant, quality, and IT stakeholders. This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
