Job description

You’ll play a key role within the AIR sector, working across a variety of projects to design and deliver insightful BI reports, dashboards, and data visualisations that drive informed decision-making across the business.

Core duties:

  • Working with stakeholders, analysts and other developers to understand systems and collaborate on the implementation of appropriate BI solutions
  • Translate business requirements and rules in into technical design specifications
  • Build and deploy BI solutions using appropriate code standards, configuration and change management process and procedures
  • Working with multidimensional and relational data sets to support the creation of Framework Manager Models
  • Working within an Agile Development framework, participating in regular development sprints and providing updates on daily stand-ups
  • Ensure incidents raised are responded to and resolved within the agreed service level agreements

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in data modelling and producing high-quality design specifications
  • Strong background in developing BI dashboards and reports, including testing, validation, and deployment within an Agile environment
  • Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL, with experience using BI tools such as Tableau, Cognos, or SSRS, and exposure to SSAS
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and technologies, including SSIS, data warehousing, data vaults, and data virtualisation
