Senior Python developer

Our client is a financial services organisation building capital markets data platforms and agentic AI applications. They are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join a collaborative engineering team working on data infrastructure and AI-driven tooling that supports trading, analytics, and operational workflows.Requirements:5+ years of Python development with strong data (Parquet) and AI (Claude Code) experienceExperience working with large datasets and columnar data formatsAn AI-native mindset, with exposure to agent-based or AI-assisted developmentSolid software engineering fundamentals and experience delivering production systemsFinancial services experience is a strong advantageResponsibilities:Build and maintain Python applications and data pipelines for capital markets use casesDevelop agentic AI applications and integrate AI tooling into existing workflowsWork with large financial datasets, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalabilityCollaborate with stakeholders across technology and the business to deliver solutionsContribute to engineering best practices
