Job description

  • Manage and maintain storage systems utilizing RAID controllers, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Design and implement scalable system architectures leveraging service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles to enhance modularity and flexibility.
  • Support the deployment and administration of Pegasystems solutions for business process automation.
  • Perform system administration tasks across Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms such as Azure, including configuration management and system tuning.
  • Develop scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, or other languages to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot complex software issues related to system architecture, storage management, networking (including VPNs, firewalls), and performance tuning.
  • Administer Active Directory environments and manage user access controls to ensure security compliance.
  • Implement server backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data across diverse environments.
  • Support the integration of RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and containerization technologies like VMware for scalable application deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions through SDLC best practices such as CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor system performance using load balancing techniques and perform capacity planning to support future growth.
  • Ensure information security standards are met by managing firewalls, DNS configurations, and network security protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in systems engineering or IT infrastructure roles with a focus on enterprise-level solutions.
  • Strong background in server administration across Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with RAID controller management, storage solutions (NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra), and database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages including Bash (Unix shell), T-SQL, PowerShell, or Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V combined with experience in cloud services such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience supporting microservices architectures using RESTful APIs within an Agile environment following SDLC principles.
  • Understanding of network protocols including DHCP, DNS, VPNs, load balancing techniques, and firewall configurations for secure connectivity.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to operating systems (Windows & Linux), system tuning, performance optimization, and system troubleshooting processes.
  • Prior exposure to configuration management tools like Git or Jenkins for continuous integration/deployment workflows is highly desirable.

Join us if you’re eager to leverage your technical expertise in a vibrant environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement!
