Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Network, Cloud & Security Operations

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to provide hands-on technical security support across enterprise network, endpoint, cloud, application, security operations, and incident-response environments.

This role will work closely with engineering and operations teams to implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve enterprise cybersecurity controls., * Implement and support network security, including segmentation, Network Access Control (NAC), remote access, IPSec, and VPN technologies.

• Support endpoint security, including asset inventories, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and hardened builds.
• Assess and support cloud access controls, asset inventories, security configurations, and cloud incident-response requirements.
• Support application security, Secure SDLC practices, security testing, and secure configurations.
• Onboard security log sources and support SIEM integrations, monitoring, alert optimization, and security-event analysis.
• Develop and maintain incident-response playbooks and triage procedures.
• Support malware response and security-incident detection, containment, recovery, documentation, notifications, and lessons learned.
• Identify security weaknesses and recommend technical remediation.
• Troubleshoot cybersecurity technologies and integrations.
• Develop technical documentation, procedures, reports, and security recommendations.
• Provide technical input during cybersecurity product evaluations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional cybersecurity or security engineering experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity technologies and controls.

Must be able to report onsite daily to the Hauppauge NY 11788 area.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CySA+, CCSP, GIAC, or vendor-specific security certifications are preferred but not required., * Do you have hands-on professional experience implementing or supporting enterprise cybersecurity technologies or controls?
