Job description
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Develop backend services, APIs, and business logic using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain frontend/web application components using JavaScript.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
- Work extensively with relational databases (RDBMS) for application development and data management.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, database objects, and data access components.
- Troubleshoot application, database, integration, and production issues.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and other development teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support application deployments and production releases.
- Follow enterprise standards for security, scalability, reliability, and application performance.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java / Java/J2EE.
- Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
- Good hands-on experience with JavaScript.
- Strong experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or DB2.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, joins, indexing, queries, and database performance optimization.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs / Web Services.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
- Experience with Git or similar source-control tools.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle.
- Good debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
