Job description

An experienced Enterprise/Solution Architect specializing in core banking transformation, responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions. Aligns business strategy with technology capabilities, drives modernization initiatives, and ensures successful implementation across retail and corporate banking domains while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and regulatory compliance.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Job Role

  • Define and deliver end-to-end architecture solutions across business, application, data, security, and infrastructure layers
  • Lead core banking transformation programs, including modernization and legacy system replacement
  • Develop target architectures, roadmaps, and technology strategies
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
  • Guide teams on API-first and event-driven architecture implementations
  • Drive innovation initiatives to improve customer experience, analytics, and digital capabilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and governance standards
  • Provide leadership through architecture governance, presentations, and decision-making forums
  • Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment and successful delivery
