Python/SQL Developer

We are seeking an experienced Python/SQL Developer with a strong background in Capital Markets and modern application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable solutions using Python, developing and optimizing SQL-based data solutions, and designing microservices in enterprise environments. This role will partner closely with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality applications, data services, and regulatory reporting solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain applications, APIs, and microservices using Python and related technologies

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions
• Build and support data pipelines, integrations, and reporting solutions across Capital Markets platforms
• Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Support regulatory, risk, and trading-related initiatives within Capital Markets environments
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across applications and databases
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development
• Strong expertise in SQL, including query optimization, performance tuning, and database design
• Experience developing and supporting microservices and API-driven architectures
• Background working within Capital Markets, including trading, risk, regulatory reporting, or related financial systems
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and large-scale data environments
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, and Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with cloud technologies and distributed systems
• Knowledge of financial products, trading workflows, and risk management concepts
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies
