Job description

  • Conduct detailed data profiling using Excel, SQL, and other specialised tools
  • Deliver segmentation, trend analysis, and anomaly/outlier detection
  • Reconcile and validat
  • e data across multiple systems and sources
  • Present insights in a clear, concise format, including assumptions and confidence levels
  • Collaborate with Data Stewards to support data discovery and insight generation
  • Partner with Data Engineering teams to support the onboarding and integration of new data sources
  • Ensure appropriate handling and governance of sensitive and regulated data (including PII)

Requirements

You will play a key role in interpreting and validating data, identifying trends and drivers, and communicating findings clearly to stakeholders. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving datasets., * Proven experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or Analytics role

  • Experience within financial services or alternative investments is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of financial data domains (e.g. IBOR/ABOR, transactions, market data, reference data)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL (essential)
  • Experience with Power BI is advantageous
  • Exposure to Python is beneficial
