Job description

Conduct detailed data profiling using Excel, SQL, and other specialised tools
Deliver segmentation, trend analysis, and anomaly/outlier detection
Reconcile and validat
e data across multiple systems and sources
Present insights in a clear, concise format, including assumptions and confidence levels
Collaborate with Data Stewards to support data discovery and insight generation
Partner with Data Engineering teams to support the onboarding and integration of new data sources
Ensure appropriate handling and governance of sensitive and regulated data (including PII)

Requirements

You will play a key role in interpreting and validating data, identifying trends and drivers, and communicating findings clearly to stakeholders. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving datasets., * Proven experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or Analytics role

Experience within financial services or alternative investments is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of financial data domains (e.g. IBOR/ABOR, transactions, market data, reference data)
Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL (essential)
Experience with Power BI is advantageous
Exposure to Python is beneficial
