Data Engineer

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain secure ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured public health data.
• Develop scalable batch, scheduled, event-driven, and near-real-time pipelines for portal intake, validation, workflows, reporting, analytics, and bidirectional MHS exchange.
• Integrate Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Azure services, APIs, SQL Server, systems, and approved file-transfer platforms.
• Develop secure MHS SQL Server integrations using approved APIs, stored procedures, connectors, gateways, hybrid connections, or VPN interfaces; prohibit direct public database access.

• Five or more years of experience in data engineering, systems integration, data warehousing, analytics engineering, or database development.
• Hands-on experience constructing and maintaining production ETL and ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Strong SQL Server development skills, including queries, views, stored procedures, data modeling, performance optimization, and controlled database interfaces.

$125,000 - $135,000 a year The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, TrueTandem considers several factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
