Job description

  • Coordinate and support Studio Engineering Feasibility and Design Process
  • Studio Design Feasibility Status, Hard points plan and Executive Summary
  • Coordinate and support benchmark for technical solutions applicable to the attributed project
  • In charge of the CAD design and development of highly complex components as single part and parts assembly with interdependent functionalities
  • Coordinate and support technical communication with Design and all non-Design Departments
  • Check incoming data from internal and external suppliers for compliance
  • Ensure feasibility and appropriate dimensioning of the developed CAD data (e.g., strength, rigidity, cross-sections, centres of gravity, Masses, moments of inertia)
  • Support the internal and constant process improvement in terms of CAD data timing and quality delivery
  • Embrace cross-project development teams
  • Coordinate and support the documentation and archives of the created CAD data
  • Develop product presentations relative to the developed CAD data
  • Responsible of storing, releasing and archiving in Team Centre according to Ford global processes. (Updating, maintaining and securing the data.)

Requirements

Do you have experience in CATIA?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Studio Engineering: working within Design to deliver theme and work with Engineering to align and challenge technical inputs

  • Studio Engineering: Design feasibility and CAD engineering Ford TC and Catia V5
  • Design Aesthetic Understanding

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive exterior or interior Studio Engineering within Design

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or a related field
