Job description

Members of the LIMS IT Support team provide user and system support, covering the diagnostic laboratories of OUH. Liaising further afield with colleagues across the South 4 Pathology Partnership. The post holder will play a supporting role within the structure to ensure service continuity and development., · As part of the team provide Day to Day support of the Winpath enterprise (WPE) laboratory system. As part of on call system endure lab operational capability 24/7 across multiple departments.

· Work closely with the EPR team to manage changes in WPE and EPR.

· Assist with statistical analysis, data collection, and audit support., * Day to Day support of the Winpath enterprise (WPE) laboratory system.

  • · Work closely with the EPR team to manage changes in WPE and EPR.
  • · Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory IT systems.
  • · Maintain knowledge of SQL language development.
  • · Assist with statistical analysis, data collection, and audit support.
  • · Perform other tasks as designated.

Requirements

The post-holders will be self-motivated team players with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and a methodical approach to tasks. As members of the team they will demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and diagnostic skills., * Degree in computer science or equivalent., * Knowledge of SQL & Messaging

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of Lab and Hospital EPR systems
  • Experience with GP electronic ordering systems
