Job DescriptionOur client is currently looking to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer on a permanent basis Electronics Design EngineerDerbyshire - Commutable from Nottingham, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Sheffield£35,000 - £45,000 We’re seeking an experienced engineer to join a growing team developing advanced electronic control systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full product development lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, validation and production. What You’ll Be DoingDesigning analogue and digital electronic circuitsDeveloping PCB layouts, including multi-layer designsSelecting components and managing obsolescenceWorking closely with embedded software engineers on hardware/software integrationSupporting prototyping, testing and product validationCollaborating with production teams and external suppliersMaintaining technical documentation in line with ISO 9001 standards

What We’re Looking ForExperience in electronic circuit design and PCB layoutKnowledge of Altium, KiCad or similar design toolsStrong understanding of analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronicsPractical debugging and fault-finding skillsAbility to work independently and take ownership of projects Desirable ExperienceIndustrial, automotive or control systems environmentsEMC compliance awarenessDesign for Manufacture (DFM)A practical, hands-on approach to engineering Interested?
