Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Blue Prism Developer & Automation Owner to lead the design, development, and management of intelligent automation solutions within our organization. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation initiatives by leveraging Blue Prism’s robotic process automation (RPA) platform, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems, and optimizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling cross-functional collaboration and innovative product development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence automation strategies, oversee complex projects, and contribute to our data-driven decision-making culture., * Develop, debug, and enhance Blue Prism processes and objects, following best practices and established standards.

  • Monitor Control Room, schedules, sessions, and work queues to ensure reliable production execution.
  • Provide L1/L2/L3 production support, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and permanent issue resolution.
  • Support ABBYY FlexiCapture and other document capture solutions integrated with Blue Prism.
  • Manage the automation backlog, including intake, prioritization, effort/value assessment, enhancements, and new automations.
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify automation opportunities, support UAT, and communicate status and timelines.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, process logic, dependencies, and exception-handling procedures.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, configuration, and production deployments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Blue Prism development experience.
  • Strong experience with Control Room, Scheduler, work queues, session troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing an automation or application backlog.
  • Strong business stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills.
  • Experience with ABBYY FlexiCapture or similar IDP/OCR technology.
  • Enterprise application automation experience; SAP strongly preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
