Job description

You’ll be integrating contact centre platforms, CRM systems, and line-of-business applications into Microsoft Fabric, building bronze-silver-gold pipelines, and delivering Power BI reporting to support channel shift analysis and operational insight. As a Senior Consultant you’ll also provide an element of technical leadership, helping to guide and develop less experienced engineers within the delivery team. Key responsibilities:Integrating contact centre platforms (including AWS Connect), CRM systems, and line-of-business applications into Microsoft FabricBuilding robust bronze-silver-gold data pipelines, implementing data matching and quality rulesOptimising Lakehouse and semantic models for Power BI reportingDeveloping intuitive Power BI dashboards, enabling analysts to unlock meaningful operational insightsSupporting channel shift analysis and delivering actionable operational insight to stakeholdersProviding technical leadership and mentoring less experienced engineers within the delivery teamContributing to shared data engineering standards and documentationWorking collaboratively within agile delivery teamsManaging stakeholder relationships effectively across a complex organisation

Requirements

Skills & experience:7+ years’ data engineering experience delivering integration, transformation, and visualisation solutions across complex organisationsExpert-level Azure data engineering skills with cross-cloud AWS exposureHands-on Microsoft Fabric experience - Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Notebooks, and Semantic ModelsProven experience integrating contact centre platforms (including AWS Connect) into Microsoft FabricExperience integrating CRM systems and line-of-business applications into data platformsBronze-silver-gold pipeline design, data matching, and quality rules implementationPower BI dashboard development - from data layer through to visualisationAbility to provide technical leadership and guide less experienced team membersExcellent stakeholder management skills across complex organisational environmentsComfortable working in agile delivery teams and contributing to engineering standards and documentationUK government or public sector experience preferred Clearance & Compliance* BPSS clearance required (or willingness to undergo screening)* Inside IR35 Interested?If you have strong Microsoft Fabric and Azure data engineering experience and are available at short notice, we’d love to hear from you.
