ICT Design Consultant

Lead the production of, review, and approval of Telecoms designs and documentation at a consistent and high level of quality and accuracy. This will include the production of schematics, containment design, rack elevations, specifications and project specific material lists. This individual will be responsible for managing all deliverables throughout the specification and design process. Ensure that the technical processes and procedures for the delivery of discipline outputs are followed. Work closely with Design Lead and Implementation team to support them with all appropriate tasks. Min 4yrs experience of delivering Data Center Telecoms design as part of multi-disciplinary design team. Hyperscale DC design experienceExperience in Data Center technology, engineering, structured cabling project deliveryExperience in the specification, design & delivery of ICT infrastructure and Structured Cabling SystemsAbility to create designs to meet customer-driven requirements and to accommodate unique installation challengesAbility to converse and design with CAD and Revit techniciansFluent EnglishAble to clearly communicate design intent as part of client facing role.Strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be confident and feel comfortable conversing on the telephone, via email, face-to-face, delivering presentations and be able to write concise reports.It is imperative that you can demonstrate good attention to detail and enjoy problem solving technical and non-technical issues.You must be a team player but, it is important that you can work on your own initiative prioritising work and adhering to deadlines.You will be reliable, self-motivated and flexible.
