Job description
- Deliver in-person technical assistance for employees by addressing walk-up support needs and resolving desktop-related issues in a timely manner.
- Diagnose and correct hardware, software, and operating system problems across Windows-based computers and peripheral devices.
- Prepare, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems for new and existing users, including imaging and workstation setup.
- Support Zebra printer functionality by identifying issues, troubleshooting problems, and coordinating solutions to minimize downtime.
- Manage incoming service desk requests, document work performed, and provide updates through the ticketing process.
- Administer basic user account and access tasks within Active Directory as part of end-user support activities.
- Assist with Microsoft Office 365 support by resolving common application, access, and configuration concerns.
Requirements
- Maintain organized workstation standards and ensure devices are properly configured for business use. Requirements - 5+ years of experience in help desk, desktop support, or a similar end-user support role.
- Practical experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and other Microsoft desktop environments.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory for user account and access-related support tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and peripheral issues with minimal supervision.
- Experience handling service desk tickets and managing multiple support requests effectively.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 support and common end-user application issues.
- Hands-on experience with PC setup, desktop imaging, and workstation deployment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to on-site technical support.
