Job description
A senior systems analyst in the Data Center Infrastructure team is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, optimization and maintenance of the IT infrastructure in Broward Health. Also, engages in system and requirements analysis, system design, and quality assurance processes., Maintain enterprise infrastructure with a target uptime of 99.9% or greater. Respond to critical incidents and participate in on-call rotations. Lead troubleshooting efforts during major outages. Deliver projects on time and within scope. Maintain current knowledge of emerging infrastructure technologies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure infrastructure environments remain secure, supported, and compliant. Balance operational support responsibilities with strategic engineering initiatives. Demonstrate strong customer service and collaboration skills.
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in infrastructure and application virtualization, hyperconverged and multi-tier infrastructure, AI-assisted solutions and integration, infrastructure security, enterprise on-premises and cloud storage, backup and recovery solutions, cloud services, data center operations, server administration, and networking fundamentals.

5+ years in a senior IT position
5+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
5+ years of VMware administration in large-scale environments.
Experience supporting enterprise storage platforms and SAN environments.
Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments. Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, and load balancing.
Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
