Software Test Engineer

The ideal applicant will have experience of Automated Testing, Continuous Integration and Version Control Systems (preferably Git), and a working knowledge of JavaScript (with React).

Breakdown of the role:

• You will join a key team within our clients software product teams consisting of a small team of full stack web application developers, project manager, and a a technical team leader working in an Agile environment.
• You will be responsible for all aspects of testing to help ensure the continuous delivery of robust / new features of the core software product including: tools selection, testing strategy / design, manual & automated test execution

• A Degree / HND in IT, Electronics, Computing or related discipline
• ISEB qualified to Foundation level OR previous relevant experience of software testing
• Commercial experience of functional & regression testing (web applications)
• Testing across multiple devices, platforms & browsers
• Some experience of test frameworks, for example Selenium
• Automated Testing, Continuous Integration (CI) and Version Control Systems (preferably Git)
• Any experience Jira
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferably with React)
• Agile
• Some experience of Amazon Web Services would be an advantage
