Software Engineer (1) - Established Engineer 3

Epitec is seeking an experienced Software Engineer III to join a high-impact development team focused on designing, building, and maintaining modern software solutions. This role is ideal for a strong full-stack engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable applications that improve the user experience., * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications throughout the full software development lifecycle

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Create and contribute to software architecture, application design, and system integrations
• Develop intuitive front-end user experiences using modern web technologies
• Build and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams
• Implement software testing strategies and quality assurance best practices
• Drive continuous improvement through performance optimization and modern development practices
• Support CI/CD initiatives and automated deployment processes
• Ensure security best practices are incorporated into application development
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance engineering efficiency and solution quality

• 6+ years of overall IT experience
• 4+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java
• Angular
• MongoDB
• BigQuery
• Tekton
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional experience developing enterprise-scale applications
• Experience building and supporting cloud-based solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple technology stacks and teams
