Job description

An established financial services organization is seeking a Java Developer to support remote application development, modernization, and CI/CD initiatives. This role focuses on building and enhancing Java/Spring applications, reusable components, and automated build and deployment processes., * Design, develop, enhance, and support Java/Spring applications

Build web applications and reusable application components
Participate in application redesign and performance improvement efforts
Support automated builds, deployments, and CI/CD pipeline migrations
Troubleshoot and resolve application and deployment issues while collaborating with development, QA, and engineering teams

Requirements

Strong Java development experience
Experience with Spring or the Spring Framework
Experience with Maven and Jenkins
Experience supporting automated builds and deployments
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desired Skills:

Experience with SQL, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Hibernate, or JMS
Experience with GitLab and Jira
Experience in highly regulated financial services environments
