Job description
Softelite Technologies is seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver specific technical solutions within a utility client engagement - grid analytics, AI-enabled operations tooling, customer platforms, or data integration initiatives. This role translates enterprise architecture standards into concrete, deliverable solution designs and provides technical leadership through implementation., * Design end-to-end technical solutions for specific initiatives (e.g., outage management integration, AI-based load forecasting, customer billing platform enhancements).
- Translate enterprise architecture standards into detailed solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore engineering pods to ensure solutions are built to design and standard.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements (NERC CIP, data protection).
- Support integration across OT and IT systems, ensuring data flows are secure and reliable.
- Provide technical leadership during delivery, unblocking engineering teams and resolving design issues in real time.
Requirements
- 8+ years in solution architecture or senior technical lead roles.
- Experience delivering solutions within a utility, energy, or other regulated critical-infrastructure environment.
- Strong hands-on background in at least one major cloud platform (Azure or AWS) and modern data/integration patterns.
- Experience working within compliance-heavy, regulated environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with utility-specific systems: ADMS, DERMS, SCADA, GIS, CIS/billing platforms.
- AI/ML solution delivery experience.
- Prior experience in a consulting or advisory delivery pod model.
Benefits & conditions
6 Months: Solution delivered to design, on schedule, with client sign-off on quality and compliance.
12 Months: Solution operating in production with measurable business impact (uptime, efficiency gain, or cost reduction) directly attributable to the initiative.
Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
