Job description
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and backend services.
- Develop scalable and maintainable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
- Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical solutions.
- Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and testing methodologies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+.
- Experience developing applications using Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with Spring Security.
- Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to frontend technologies such as React or Angular is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience., * Spring Boot: 2 years (Required)
