Job description

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Operations Engineer to support day-to-day AWS cloud operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, automation, and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on AWS infrastructure experience and be comfortable working with application, infrastructure, security, and development teams., * Manage and support AWS services including EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, RDS, Route 53, Load Balancers, and Auto Scaling.

Monitor AWS environments using CloudWatch and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
Support production incidents, changes, maintenance, patching, and root-cause analysis.
Manage IAM roles, policies, security groups, encryption, and access controls.
Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Use AWS Systems Manager for patching, inventory, configuration, and remote administration.
Support backups, recovery, disaster recovery, and availability improvements.
Monitor AWS performance and costs and assist with resource optimization.
Create and maintain runbooks, documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
Work with application, infrastructure, security, and development teams to resolve issues and improve cloud operations.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Operations, Cloud Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
Experience with EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, RDS, Route 53, ELB, Auto Scaling, and CloudWatch.
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Linux and/or Windows server administration.
Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
Experience with monitoring, incident management, change management, and production support.
Knowledge of cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
