Job description

About the Role as a Senior UX / Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping how users experience software products. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to understand users, business processes, product requirements, and technical constraints. You will translate that understanding into thoughtful user journeys, workflows, interaction models, information architecture, interfaces, and prototypes. The focus of this role is product experience and interaction design-not simply documenting requirements or creating visually attractive screens.

You will be expected to think deeply about:

  • How different personas and user roles interact with an enterprise SaaS product
  • How users move through complex, multi-step workflows
  • How permissions, business rules, data, and system states affect the user experience
  • Where users experience confusion, friction, errors, or unnecessary effort
  • How workflows can be simplified without sacrificing important functionality
  • How information architecture can make complex systems easier to navigate
  • How UI and interaction patterns can make sophisticated functionality feel intuitive
  • How to create scalable and reusable design patterns across an enterprise platform
  • How design decisions affect usability, efficiency, adoption, and business outcomes
  • How to create experiences that are not only functional, but polished and enjoyable to use We work in an AI-first development environment, using AI to accelerate research, analysis, ideation, documentation, competitive analysis, and rapid prototyping. This allows our designers to spend more time on the areas where strong human design judgment matters most: experience strategy, interaction design, workflow optimization, problem solving, and product quality.

What You’ll Do Enterprise SaaS & Product Experience Design

  • Design intuitive, efficient, and engaging experiences for enterprise SaaS and web-based applications.
  • Lead the interaction and product design process from problem definition through high-fidelity design and prototyping.
  • Translate complex business processes, requirements, and product capabilities into simple, logical user experiences.
  • Design experiences for products with multiple personas, roles, permissions, workflows, and business rules.
  • Create intuitive navigation, information architecture, task flows, and interaction models.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate unnecessary steps, reduce friction, and improve task completion.
  • Optimize existing SaaS interfaces and workflows based on user behavior, feedback, product data, and business objectives.
  • Design experiences that balance usability, efficiency, scalability, technical feasibility, business objectives, and user satisfaction.
  • Think beyond individual screens to understand the complete end-to-end product experience.
  • Help differentiate products through thoughtful, modern, user-centered product experiences. Persona & Workflow Design
  • Design around clearly defined personas, user roles, goals, behaviors, and workflows.
  • Map end-to-end user journeys, task flows, and business processes.
  • Identify differences in how various personas interact with the platform and design accordingly.
  • Simplify complex enterprise workflows without sacrificing necessary functionality.
  • Identify friction points, redundant steps, confusing interactions, and usability issues.
  • Anticipate user needs and create intuitive paths through sophisticated systems.
  • Design experiences that account for different user states, permissions, business rules, errors, exceptions, and edge cases.
  • Translate real-world business processes into scalable digital experiences. UI, Interaction Design & Prototyping
  • Create wireframes, interaction models, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes.
  • Use Figma and modern design tools to communicate design concepts and interaction behavior.
  • Design interfaces that clearly communicate not only how they look, but how they work.
  • Optimize layouts, navigation, controls, forms, tables, dashboards, workflows, and information hierarchy.
  • Design reusable patterns and components appropriate for enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Contribute to and help evolve design systems and component libraries.
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented. Enterprise UI & Visual Design
  • Apply strong visual design principles to enhance usability and create polished product experiences.
  • Establish appropriate hierarchy, spacing, typography, visual consistency, and component usage.
  • Design interfaces that help users understand complex information and make confident decisions.
  • Apply modern SaaS and enterprise UI patterns appropriately.
  • Balance visual quality with usability, accessibility, performance, and product complexity.
  • Strong visual design ability is a plus, particularly for candidates who combine visual quality with exceptional interaction design. Collaboration & Product Partnership
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Participate in discovery and early product conversations to help define the problem before jumping into solutions.
  • Communicate design rationale and explain how decisions support specific personas, workflows, and product objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with developers to ensure design intent and interaction behavior are accurately implemented.
  • Participate in Agile product development, design reviews, sprint planning, refinement, and product discussions.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback, usability observations, product data, and technical constraints.
  • Advocate for the user while understanding business and technical realities.
  • Continuously evaluate existing product experiences and identify opportunities for improvement.

What “AI-First” Means Here AI is embedded into our design and development workflow. You will use AI tools where appropriate to accelerate activities such as:

  • Research and competitive analysis
  • Information gathering
  • Design exploration and ideation
  • Initial design concepts
  • Analysis of user feedback and behavioral patterns
  • Documentation
  • Content generation
  • Rapid prototyping
  • Design iteration, * Think deeply about personas, roles, user behavior, and business objectives.
  • Understand how users move through a product from beginning to end.
  • Identify friction, unnecessary complexity, and usability problems.
  • Design interactions that feel natural and intuitive.
  • Turn complicated workflows into simple experiences.
  • Design for complex business rules, edge cases, and user states.
  • Balance user needs with business and technical realities.
  • Create polished interfaces that users enjoy using.
  • Defend design decisions with clear reasoning.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering.
  • Iterate quickly rather than becoming overly attached to an initial design.
  • Use data, feedback, and observation to continuously improve the product.
  • Use AI to accelerate lower-value activities while focusing your expertise on design thinking, interaction strategy, and experience creation.
  • Take ownership of design outcomes and product quality.

Portfolio Expectations A strong portfolio is required. We are particularly interested in case studies demonstrating:

  • Enterprise SaaS or platform design
  • Interaction design
  • Complex workflow design
  • Persona-driven design decisions
  • Role-based or multi-user experiences
  • Before-and-after UX improvements
  • UI optimization
