Job description

GSG Protective Services is seeking a sharp, mission-focused GSOC Analyst to support a 24/7 Global Security Operations Center for a major media client with worldwide and high-risk operations. This shift-based role serves as a critical communications hub - providing real-time monitoring, incident response, and intelligence support to protect company personnel, assets, and operations on a global scale., As a GSOC Analyst, you will be the front line of global security operations, including:

  • Communications Monitoring: Monitor all channels - email, phones, and messenger applications - and meet established KPI requirements for response times.
  • Global Assistance: Answer and respond to assistance requests from employees worldwide in a timely and professional manner.
  • Crisis Response: Serve as the first line of response and escalation for panic alarms and other crisis communications.
  • Access & Camera Monitoring: Monitor access control systems and security cameras; respond promptly to alarms and incoming requests.
  • Data Management: Manage multiple data input feeds and spreadsheets to initiate, track, and log communications with travelers in the field.
  • Event Logging: Conduct data logging of events, protests, and incidents for use in alerts, reports, and trend analysis.
  • Intelligence Gathering: Pull and synthesize data from multiple vendor feeds to support stakeholder research and analysis.
  • Stakeholder Alerts: Communicate timely, concise, and proactive security alerts to stakeholders.
  • Risk Monitoring: Monitor the global risk environment; analyze open and proprietary sources for timely, accurate, and relevant intelligence.
  • Situational Reporting: Compile and distribute situational reports for stakeholders as directed.
  • Emergency Communications: Send mass notifications and emergency communications as required.
  • Crisis Support: Support crisis mitigation and business continuity planning; assist in coordinating meetings, data, and operational response in incident management scenarios.
  • Traveler Safety: Support travel and company asset security programs; monitor traveler and building locations and conduct welfare checks or offer assistance as needed.

Requirements

Remote work is not available for this position., * Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of equivalent professional experience in security operations, emergency communications, or a related discipline.

  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear and concise reports, alerts, and correspondence under time pressure.
  • Proactive communication style with comfort in independent outreach to management and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, multi-task, and operate effectively in high-stress, time-constrained situations.
  • Experience intaking and parsing information in emergency or rapidly evolving situations.
  • Working knowledge of current global events, geopolitics, and geography.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Advanced computer proficiency
