Senior Application Security Engineer (Cyber Security)

We are seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to lead and enhance application security initiatives across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This role will partner with software engineering, platform, and security teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, AI-assisted development workflows, vulnerability management, secure coding practices, and cloud-native environments., * Drive Application Security and DevSecOps initiatives across SDLC processes.

• Implement and manage security testing tools including SAST, DAST, SCA, container and secrets scanning.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and automated developer workflows.
• Perform application security assessments, threat modeling, code reviews, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve security risks.
• Support cloud, API, container, and Kubernetes security initiatives.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize application security tools and platforms.
• Participate in security incident response, investigation, and continuous security improvement efforts.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote secure development best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cyber Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Application Security, Cyber Security, or DevSecOps.
• Strong experience with Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, SCA, CI/CD Security, Vulnerability Management, and Secure Coding Practices.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud environments, APIs, containers, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment, software supply chain security, and AI-assisted security tooling.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to participate in on-call and incident response activities when required.
