Software Engineering Manager

Warble Solutions - Digital Technology & Business Solutions is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead software engineering teams and oversee the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of scalable digital products and business technology solutions.

The successful candidate will combine hands-on technical understanding with strong people leadership, guiding engineers, improving development practices, and partnering with product and business teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing software.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor software engineers across multiple development initiatives
• Oversee the software development lifecycle from architecture and planning through deployment
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, documentation, security, and maintainability
• Partner with product managers, designers, architects, and business stakeholders
• Guide technical architecture and major engineering decisions
• Manage development roadmaps, sprint priorities, resources, risks, and delivery timelines
• Improve CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, observability, and deployment practices
• Support development of cloud-native applications, APIs, integrations, and digital platforms
• Monitor application reliability, scalability, performance, and technical health
• Recruit, coach, and develop engineering talent while supporting career progression
• Manage technical debt and prioritize platform and architecture improvements
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity

• Significant experience in software engineering with experience leading development teams
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, application development, APIs, and databases
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or comparable technologies
• Knowledge of Agile development, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern engineering practices
• Experience managing complex software projects and technical roadmaps
• Ability to balance product delivery with scalability, reliability, security, and technical quality
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience preferred

Pay: $155,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
