Job description

A large industrial manufacturing and supply company is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Miami team. This role is central to understanding business performance across the organization, from tracking sales revenue and profitability to analyzing manufacturing costs, pricing strategies, and operational data.

The Data Analyst will work closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Operations, and leadership teams to deliver reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights that support strategic decision making. This is a highly visible role with exposure to multiple departments and opportunities to contribute to key business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and business intelligence tools
  • Analyze sales performance, revenue trends, margins, and profitability
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and operational planning initiatives
  • Create recurring reports for leadership and department managers
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends and opportunities
  • Assist with data management, reporting accuracy, and system data integrity
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and IT teams on reporting and analytical projects
  • Support process improvement initiatives and reporting automation efforts
  • Provide data driven recommendations that support business decisions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Finance, Operations Analysis, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience building reports and dashboards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Power BI, NetSuite, SQL, or similar reporting tools is a plus
  • Manufacturing, distribution, or operations analytics experience is a plus, * Microsoft Excel Advanced : 2 years (Required)
  • Power BI: 2 years (Required)
