Lead Decision Scientist

Starbucks is seeking a Senior/Lead Decision Scientist to drive data-informed strategy across our global coffeehouse business. In this role, you will partner with operations, marketing, digital, and supply chain teams to design experiments, build predictive and optimization models, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that enhance guest experience, store performance, and loyalty. You will lead analytics projects end-to-end, mentor junior analysts, define measurement frameworks, and champion data literacy while working in a values-driven culture focused on inclusion, sustainability, and community impact., * Lead end-to-end analytics and decision science projects to support Starbucks strategic initiatives

• Design and analyze experiments to optimize pricing, promotions, loyalty, and digital experiences
• Build predictive models and dashboards that improve store operations and guest experience
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and measurement frameworks
• Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
• Mentor and guide junior analysts and data scientists
• Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices in analytics workflows
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
