Solutions Engineer (Skywise) - Engineering Technologies

Join our Engineering Technologies team at Leeds Bradford Airport and help shape the future of aircraft maintenance through cutting-edge digital solutions., As a Solutions Engineer in the Engineering Technologies team, you will blend aircraft maintenance expertise with cutting edge digital solutions, delivering innovative data and analytics insights to enhance Engineering & Maintenance operations. You’ll develop predictive maintenance and condition monitoring initiatives, working cross-functionally to drive digital transformation. You will:

• Collaborate on use cases and proof of concept development
• Implement data-driven solutions to optimise performance
• Analyse engineering workflows to identify improvements
• Develop predictive maintenance solutions to reduce downtime and enhance safety
• Integrate digital tools with existing systems
• Ensure regulatory compliance and best practice standards
• Assist with training and adoption of new technologies
• Create reports and visualisations to share insights

Do you have experience in SQL?, We’re looking for a data-focused problem solver with a passion for engineering innovation. You will:

• Communicate effectively across all levels
• Be analytical, detail-oriented, and creative in problem solving
• Be self-motivated, adaptable, and delivery-focused
• Demonstrate strong organisational skills
• Have knowledge of Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Hold an Aerospace Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Have experience in Airline Engineering Operations, ideally Part-CAMO

Beneficial skills:

• Be experienced with Palantir Foundry or Skywise

• Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML/CSS
