Job description
Role: AWS Migration Specialist (Cloud Engineer) Focused on the cloud infrastructure underpinning the migration. Responsible for ensuring the AWS environment is correctly architected, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient - the platform the data team builds on top of. Key contact if the engagement pursues AWS MAP co-funding to offset delivery costs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assess and remediate the existing AWS infrastructure configuration
- Ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and cost-optimised
- Own networking, IAM, and AWS-native service configuration
- Act as the primary contact for any AWS co-funding or MAP programme engagement
- Work closely with the Architect and Data Engineers to align on infrastructure needs
We’d love to talk to you if you:
- AWS infrastructure: VPC, IAM, S3, EC2, EKS, networking
- Migration tooling and cloud cost optimisation
- Security and compliance in regulated environments
- AWS MAP programme experience - a plus
- Platform-focused rather than data-focused; complements the Data Engineers
- Experience working within Igaming or Gambling organisations
This role is Hybrid and requires 2-3 days per week on site in Manchester
