Manager, SAP Transportation Management, Technology and Transformation

Join Deloitte’s Technology and Transformation practice as a Manager in SAP Transportation Management, where you will help clients redesign and modernise complex transport and logistics operations. In return, you will gain access to market-leading transformation programmes, a collaborative team environment, and the platform to continue growing your leadership, delivery and advisory career., As a Manager in SAP Transportation Management, you will lead the design and delivery of SAP TM solutions that help clients improve planning, execution, cost control and collaboration across their transport networks. You will work closely with client stakeholders to shape solution direction, lead workshops, manage delivery teams, and translate complex operational requirements into practical S/4HANA TM solutions. This role combines functional depth, programme leadership and client advisory skills.

You will be expected to lead SAP TM workstreams across transformation programmes, support solution design from discovery through deployment, and help clients make confident decisions on complex logistics and transportation processes. This may include transportation planning, freight unit building, tendering, carrier collaboration, freight costing and settlement, charge management, and integration with wider logistics and procurement processes. You will also play an important role in developing teams, supporting business development activity, and contributing to Deloitte’s growth in SAP-enabled supply chain transformation.

• Lead SAP TM design and delivery across end-to-end transformation programmes
• Guide clients on transportation planning, execution, costing and settlement processes in SAP S/4HANA
• Shape complex integration approaches across SAP TM, SAP EWM, SAP MM and external 3PL or 4PL ecosystems
• Facilitate workshops and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
• Coach team members, review solution quality and support the growth of Deloitte’s SAP logistics capability

• Experience implementing SAP Transportation Management solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments, including embedded or standalone deployment models.
• Strong hands-on configuration knowledge across core SAP TM processes, including freight unit building, transportation planning, freight order execution, tendering, carrier assignment, charge management, freight costing and settlement.
• Experience designing or leading SAP TM integration with SAP EWM, SAP MM, external carriers, and 3PL or 4PL logistics providers.
• Knowledge of SAP TM charge calculation, rate tables, freight settlement documents, and BRFplus-based conditions or rule logic.
• Experience leading client workshops, gathering business requirements, and converting them into functional requirements and business process designs.
• Ability to create, review and explain functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows.
• Experience leading delivery teams or workstreams across SAP-enabled transformation programmes.
• End-to-end knowledge of transportation and logistics business processes, including planning, execution, settlement and reporting.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and building trusted client relationships.
• Willingness to travel to client locations depending on project requirements.

Desirables

• SAP Transportation Management certification or equivalent SAP logistics certification.
• Experience across both shipper and logistics service provider scenarios.
• Working knowledge of related SAP logistics modules, such as SAP Extended Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Global Trade Services or Business Network for Logistics.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public or private edition.
• Familiarity with agile implementation methods and fit-to-standard delivery approaches.
• Experience supporting sales, practice development, proposition development or internal capability-building activities.
