Senior Web Developer

We work across WordPress, Laravel, Symfony, React, Vue.js, React Native, Magento, Shopify and AWS, delivering everything from high-end marketing websites through to complex business systems, customer portals, ecommerce platforms and integrations.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to join our growing team and play a key role in the technical delivery of client projects.

The Role

As a Senior Web Developer, you will work closely with our project managers, designers and development team to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

You will take ownership of technical delivery across a range of projects, contribute to solution design, mentor junior developers and help shape technical standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites, ecommerce platforms, mobile applications and bespoke software solutions
• Build custom solutions using Laravel, Symfony, WordPress and modern PHP frameworks
• Develop frontend applications using React and Vue.js
• Support React Native mobile application projects where required
• Develop and maintain API integrations with third-party systems
• Participate in technical discovery, planning and solution architecture
• Review code and maintain development best practices
• Support junior developers through mentoring and technical guidance
• Troubleshoot technical issues across applications, infrastructure and hosting environments
• Support deployment and release processes
• Ensure projects meet performance, accessibility, security and quality standards
• Contribute to continuous improvements in development processes and tooling

Do you have experience in PHP?, * Strong commercial PHP development experience

• Experience with Laravel and/or Symfony
• Experience developing custom WordPress solutions
• Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
• Experience working with MySQL databases
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Strong Git workflow knowledge
• Experience working within a digital agency environment
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Shopify development experience
• AWS experience
• Docker experience
• CI/CD experience
• Experience with Algolia or enterprise search platforms
• Understanding of accessibility standards and Core Web Vitals
