Job description

Do you enjoy solving real-world problems and seeing your code come to life?

At Logistex, your software doesn’t sit behind a dashboard-it drives physical machines, moves products, and powers automation systems used by major global brands.

If you’re the kind of engineer who enjoys tackling complex problems, building robust systems, and seeing immediate, real-world impact… this role is for you.

Why Logistex?

We design and deliver warehouse automation systems from robotics and sortation to storage and retrieval.

This isn’t just another software job.

  • Your code controls real machines in live environments

  • You’ll see the results of your work in action

  • You’ll work on systems where performance, reliability, and correctness truly matter

  • You’ll collaborate with engineers across software, hardware, and operations

If you like the idea of software that interacts with the real world-not just screens-you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and developing high-performance, real-time software systems

  • Solving complex engineering problems where efficiency and reliability are critical

  • Working closely with hardware systems (scanners, sensors, PLCs, conveyors, robotics)

  • Supporting testing, commissioning, and live deployments

  • Diagnosing and resolving issues in production environments

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complete solutions

Requirements

We care less about specific technologies and more about how you think.

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, problem solving)

  • Experience with C++ is highly desirable, but not essential

  • Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment

  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

  • A practical, hands-on mindset with a desire to build things that work in the real world

Bonus (but not required):

  • Experience with automation, control systems, or warehouse/logistics software

  • Experience working close to hardware or real-time systems

Who You Are

  • You enjoy solving difficult problems

  • You take pride in writing quality software

  • You like seeing tangible results from your work

  • You’re curious, pragmatic, and enjoy learning

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive salary
