Job description
- translating business requirements into Finance user requirements,
- acting as a single point of contact for front-to-end initiatives,
- coordinating and facilitating activities at squad, tribe, and program level,
- supporting the product owner with backlog management-translating epics into features and, together with the squad, into user stories,
- performing data and information analyses, including data flows, quality assessments, and improvement proposals,
- implementing and maintaining controls related to minimum accounting standards,
- supporting strategic initiatives by executing functional, acceptance, and migration testing,
- translating solution designs into IT-implementable requirements in close cooperation with engineering teams,
- providing second-line functional support, including daily EOD checks (timeliness, correctness, completeness of accounting, reporting, reconciliations, ledger).
Information about the squad:
As a Change Expert, you will join a constructive, multidisciplinary squad of business analysts, engineers, and a product owner. Together, you work on FM & GT initiatives aimed at onboarding new portfolios into the central Finance environment and enhancing current processes and reporting.
Your squad combines:

deep knowledge of banking business domains (Group Treasury, Financial Markets, Transaction Services),

strong capabilities to translate business needs into robust accounting solutions,

technical expertise to design and implement changes across Finance systems.
You and your teammates work side by side every day to deliver your shared mission and continuously improve the Finance landscape.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Change Expert IV” or “Change Expert V”.
The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test cases?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * are experienced Business Analyst with proven change-management experience,
- possesses a Master’s degree in Management Accounting & Control, Business IT, Accountancy, or (Business) Economics - an excellent academic track record is a strong plus,
- bring 5+ years of experience in the financial industry and a solid understanding of Wholesale Banking product accounting concepts,
- understand end-to-end banking processes,
- have knowledge of complex Financial Markets products,
- are familiar with product accounting concepts, * has hands-on experience working with SQL,
- have experience performing impact analyses and creating functional designs,
- can maintain event-based product accounting specifications for FM & GT products (e.g., FX, MM, Swaps, Securities, Repos),
- can define and maintain non-product ledger processes such as Cost of Funding,
- are comfortable preparing clear documentation, including User Manuals and Quick Reference Cards,
- bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- communicate effortlessly and build trust with international stakeholders,
- show a proactive, self-driven attitude,
- thrive in a team but also work effectively independently.
English level - C1
You’ll get extra points for:
- knowledge of Hedge Accounting concepts,
- experience in an Agile environment and the ability to quickly adopt AWOW practices and tools,
- familiarity with FMGT FrontOffice and BackOffice systems (e.g., Murex, Summit, Sophis, Calypso),
- experience preparing test plans/test cases and executing functional, acceptance, and migration testing,
- an affinity for IT and innovation.
