Technical Lead - Node.js and React.js

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to build and scale critical product features across backend services, frontend applications, AI integrations, and cloud infrastructure.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will be responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and maintainable software in a fast-moving environment. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and integrate Generative AI capabilities into real-world product workflows., Senior Technical Lead - Node.js and React.js, * Build and maintain performant, type-safe backend services and APIs using Node.js, NestJS and TypeScript

• Develop modern, responsive applications using React and Next.js
• Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable, production-ready solutions
• Integrate Generative AI capabilities into production product workflows
• Evaluate and responsibly use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor and agent workflows
• Write and maintain automated unit, integration and E2E tests
• Diagnose production issues, improve observability and reduce regression risks
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain high standards around readability, testability and type safety
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines covering build, testing, migrations and deployments
• Support safe deployments, including migration sequencing, smoke testing and rollback-aware release practices
• Work with AWS and Terraform to deploy and operate services at scale
• Follow secure coding practices and ensure appropriate protection of customer and tenant data
• Build solutions that respect regional data residency, tenant isolation and data sovereignty requirements

• Backend: Node.js, NestJS, Fastify, TypeScript, TypeORM
• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, TanStack Query, TailwindCSS
• Databases & Caching: PostgreSQL, Redis
• Messaging: AWS SQS, event-driven background workers
• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, ECS Fargate, ECR, CloudFront, Docker
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions
• Testing: Playwright, Vitest, Jest
• Integrations: Twilio, Auth0, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic and other LLM APIs, Must-have:
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building modern web platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong production experience with Node.js, NestJS/Fastify and TypeScript
• Strong experience with React/Next.js and modern frontend engineering
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM/Generative AI APIs into real product workflows
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema evolution, migrations and performance-conscious querying
• Practical experience with AWS containerized deployments and Terraform
• Experience creating or maintaining GitHub Actions pipelines and Playwright E2E tests
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in scheduling/booking, POS or payments
• Experience with multi-region routing, tenant isolation and data residency
• Previous experience mentoring junior or mid-level engineers
• Experience in designing and implementing LLM-powered workflows, including prompting, semantic search, agentic flows and RAG-style features
