Network Specialist x2 - 6 months+ on going contracts - 1 day every fortnight in London to start, then once a month - Inside IR35, Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Network Specialist to support the major emergency network programme, focusing on the design, build and management of data centre network infrastructure.The successful specialist will have experience across network and firewall technologies, with particular emphasis on automation, scripting and network/firewall automation. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and manage data centre network environments.
- Work across Palo Alto firewall and Cisco switching technologies.
- Support network and firewall design activities.
- Provide technical support across the network environment.
- Develop and utilise network/firewall automation.
- Apply automation tooling and scripting to network activities.
Requirements
Please note: SC clearance will be conducted for onboarding: Must be a UK National with a minimum of 5 years’ unbroken UK residency - Current SC is preferred., * Strong data centre networking background.
- Experience designing, building and managing DC networks.
- Palo Alto firewall experience.
- Cisco switching experience.
- Network and firewall automation knowledge.
- Knowledge of automation tooling.
- Scripting capability.
- Network design and support experience.
