Job description

As a Graduate Software Consulting Analyst, you’ll sit between technical delivery and client engagement. You’ll help implement a sophisticated software platform, configuring solutions around client requirements, and developing functionality where needed. You’ll receive training in the platform and Groovy, while building on your existing object-oriented programming skills.

The role also gives you the chance to lead requirements sessions, demonstrate solutions and explain technical concepts to different audiences. You’ll work across multiple international projects, develop your project delivery skills and gradually build deeper expertise in software implementation and regulated industries.

  • Configure software workflows, object models and lifecycles around client requirements
  • Develop and customise platform functionality using Groovy
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues throughout software implementations
  • Lead requirements workshops and demonstrate solutions to clients
  • Document requirements, configurations, actions and project outcomes
  • Manage priorities across concurrent projects using JIRA

Benefits and Perks

You’ll join a collaborative environment where your work has a direct impact on client projects. The role offers structured technical training, varied international exposure and room to develop your platform and industry expertise over time.

  • £35,000 salary
  • Hybrid and remote working flexibility, based in London
  • Full training on the software platform and Groovy from day one
  • Exposure to complex projects and global clients
  • Opportunity to develop technical, consulting and domain expertise
  • Occasional client-site travel where required

Requirements

  • 2:1 degree or above (or equivalent) in any Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical STEM subject
  • Strong coding ability in Java, JavaScript, or another object-oriented programming language
  • Experience using SQL
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence presenting ideas and leading client-facing discussions
  • Ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks in a structured project environment

About the company

Based in London, this specialist software company develops configurable technology for organisations across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors. Its platform supports complex regulated processes, helping global clients manage quality, compliance and critical workflows. You’ll join an international project environment where technical delivery and client collaboration go hand in hand. With structured training and exposure to varied projects, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to build both your technical and consulting skills.
