Job description

  • Help create and test software as part of our skilled team.
  • Learn current and new technologies from our experienced software and hardware engineers.
  • Take on increasing responsibility for project elements as you develop.
  • Build new capabilities into our broad-ranging, scalable 4PB+ data platform, with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Contribute ideas to our business development and social activities.

Requirements

  • A strong interest in software development, particularly large-scale, low-latency data processing and presenting data in a web interface.
  • Curiosity, reliability, a willingness to learn from mistakes, and a hands-on approach to solving problems.
  • No formal software work experience is required, but you should be able to demonstrate your interest through a personal project or other relevant activity.
  • Familiarity with at least one general-purpose programming language.
  • Successful applicants must pass a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check.
